Team17 undertook to publish a multiplayer fantasy game King Of The Castle, which is being developed by the studio Tributary Games.
The project is an online strategy in which the monarch must lead his kingdom to prosperity. In it, power changes every minute and new intrigues are woven, and the narrative is led by the players.
In addition, the project includes two modes of joint passage.
The game mechanics of King Of The Castle are sharpened for the use of Twitch API, thanks to which the streamer takes control of the king, and viewers are connected to the game as insidious advisers who are able to take part in voting.
King Of The Castle is also suitable for a cooperative adventure with friends.
From 3 to 3 thousand players can become a council of quarrelsome nobles who support or reject the decisions of the monarch. The fate of the kingdom depends on everyone.
The king needs to engage in politics, resolve land conflicts and be always ready for the uprising of treacherous vassals plotting against him. King Of The Castle is going to be released in early 2023.
