The average Steam user launched five games in 2022

On December 26, Valve opened a page for viewing personal totals on Steam for 2022.

In addition to personal statistics, the service also allows you to compare your achievements with the results of other players.

For example, it turned out that the average Steam user launched only 5 games in a year and unlocked 21 achievements. At the same time, only 17 percent of the tested games were novelties.

More than half of them, 64%, were games released in the last 7 years, and in 19% we are talking about projects older than 8 years.

It is also noted that on average this year Steam users played daily for a maximum of nine days in a row.
