The creators of Trials of Mana, Octopath Traveler and Pokemon are working on a new action-RPG

FuRyu, known for Caligula Effect, The House in Fata Morgana and Monark, is preparing to introduce a new action-RPG that the Three Rings studio is working on.

The company has launched a countdown teaser site for Project-Tritri with an official announcement on May 26. The game is being developed for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Also on the development team:

• world design: Nobuteru Yuuki (Trials of Mana, Chrono Cross);
• character design: Raita Kazama (Xenoblade, Puzzle & Dragons);
• screenplay: Yura Kubota (Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default II);
• music: Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana);
• animation: studio domerica;
• Atsuko Nishida, Tomohiro Kitakase, Megumi Mizutani (Pokemon series).

Apparently, the game can be played both alone and in a company of three people. The project will be a revival of the classic role-playing games of the 90s.

Also, hints on the site help shed light on the plot of Project-Tritri. Long ago, the gods, fighting for control of the world, decided to settle the dispute through duels involving their trusted warriors - the Warriors of Chaos.

In the present, a young man named Cyan learns that he is the Warrior of Chaos, the chosen one of the gods. He has to go on a dangerous journey to try to resist his cruel fate.
