The Day Before survivor from developers from the Yakut independent studio Fntastic will not be in time for the deadline. The developers were so inspired by the number of gamers who added the project to their wishlist that they decided to keep up with the times and transfer the game to the Unreal Engine 5 rails.
Because of this, The Day Before, dedicated to survival in a zombie apocalypse, will not keep up with the deadline and will not be released on June 21 of this year, but only on March 1 of the next.
As the creators themselves note, the transition to a more modern engine will help them to better implement the gameplay in the open world.
Recall that The Day Before is being developed not only for PC, but also for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. The project will receive RTX support, so owners of modern Nvidia video cards are waiting for ray tracing, DLSS and other delights.
