The developers of God of War: Ragnarok promise to release the game this year

In yesterday's congratulations on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of God of War, creative director of Sony Santa Monica Studio Corey Barlog said that the sequel with the subtitle Ragnarok is not yet ready for a new show, although the studio continues to work hard and is preparing something cool.

Because of this, some fans feared that the project might be contained, but the developers remain on their side: the game is still coming out this year. The director of animation Bruno Velasquez told about it, in particular.

"Ragnarok will come this year," the developer briefly replied to one of the doubtful users.

God of War: Ragnarok is created for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game should complete the northern saga of Kratos and Atreus.

Santa Monica Studio is also engaged in another secret project in parallel.
