The developers of Returnal used the PC version of the game for their presentation at GDC 2022

There has been talk about the Returnal port for PC for a long time.

Sony still does not confirm the rumors, but users noticed an interesting point: at the technical presentation of Returnal in the framework of GDC 2022, held back in March, developers from Housemarque used a computer version of the game for demonstration.

The presentation was devoted to visual effects and working with particles.

At some point, the developers began to show the gameplay from the game and a panel with debugging information appeared in the frame, where one of the lines indicated that the image was output in SDR format from the PC.

Naturally, this does not confirm the release of the port, but at least indicates that the developers have a working PC-build game.

Previously, the alleged Returnal page was noticed in the Steam database, and later the existence of the PC version was confirmed in Digital Foundry.
