The prototype arcade race from Asobo Studio for Xbox resembles Cruis' n USA

The racing game, a prototype of which, as previously reported by insider Nick Baker, is being developed in the studio Asobo, is an arcade race, similar to the series Cruis'n.

During the latest release of the XboxEra podcast, Baker added an update on the project from his source, noting that the racing game, an early prototype of which is now handled by Asobo, is more like an arcade race in the spirit of Cruis' n USA.

According to him, the studio is currently also testing or experimenting with the possibility of using data from the real world for the project, as it was done with Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In this regard, according to Baker, the project may be similar to Project Gotham Racing, where the tracks lay in real locations, but stressed that prototyping does not provide any guarantees that such a game will get to the release at all.
