The Steam Deck portable PC already supports over 4,000 games from the Steam Digital Store library

Valve continues to actively work on optimizing PC games from the library of its digital store for the needs of the portable game console Steam Deck.

According to the latest GamingOnLinux report, the number of compatible projects has now reached 4000.

This means that Steam Deck owners can safely run such titles on their console and will not face critical problems when passing them. The remaining 2,140 projects were marked "Playable".

Such games can be launched, but errors and crashes can occur quite regularly. In May, the total number of compatible projects was 2,500.
