Nintendo announced the expansion of support for the mega-popular racing game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe , which was released on the Switch hybrid console in 2017. This is the Seasonal Booster Course Pass .

The DLC consists of six waves of updates that will be released throughout 2022 and 2023. Players will end up with 48 reimaginings of classic tracks from previous entries in the franchise.

The release of the first package of eight tracks will take place on March 18th. For the Booster Course Pass, they will ask for $ 24.99 (or 2,075 rubles). At the same time, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers + expansion pack will receive all content for free .

The first set will include tracks such as "Mall" with Mario Kart Wii, "Chocolate Mountain" with Nintendo 64, "Tokyo Rally" from Mario Kart Tour and others.

Players who don't yet own Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but want to jump-start these exciting races, can purchase the game at a 33% discount through Nintendo eShop until February 20th .

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best selling game for the Nintendo Switch. As of December 31, 2021, it has sold 43.35 million copies .
