Ubisoft Announces New Season of The Division 2 Secret Alliance — First in Two Years

Ubisoft officially unveiled the ninth season of the MMO shooter The Division 2. The publishing house has published the details of the upcoming content on the official website. Studio Massive Entertainment notes that when developing the update "Secret Alliance", the team tried to refine the system of raids in such a way as to bring an episodic narrative to The Division 2.

Main features of the season:

• The plot of the Secret Alliance will take the players back in time and show what happened after the collision with Faye Lau in White Oak Camp. The narrative will unfold immediately after these events: Kelso, Benitez, and Rhodes will have to do something about the consequences of what happened.
• The raids will be dedicated to a new series of serious opponents, and present the leader of the "True Sons", who replaced Antoine Ridgeway. Washington will also have a new commander, a certain Captain Lewis, pursuing his goals.
• A new type of content will appear in the "Secret Alliance" — a system for intercepting operations. Each of the lieutenants being raided will take over one of the main operations of the Washington campaign.

The Division 2 was released on March 15, 2019. The Secret Alliance season is scheduled to begin on May 12, 2022.
