On Friday, August 12, a remaster of the superhero action game Marvel's Spider-Man was released on PC. Enthusiasts have already begun to study the game and found something interesting in it.
Modder DniweTamp found in the port code a mention of a cooperative mode designed for two participants.
Among the lines are the names of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, their multiplayer models, as well as a congratulatory in-game message, judging by which, in co-op, players need to compete for the title of Ultimate Spider-Man.
On none of the available platforms, the first part of "Spider-Man" does not support any online modes and is focused exclusively on a single passage, so it is possible that part of the code from the sequel in production could get into the PC version.
So far, the developers have not officially announced the presence of a cooperative in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but given that this time both Spider-Man will be full-fledged participants in the story, there is a chance for it to appear.
Spider-Man 2 is being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and is scheduled for release in 2023.
