SEGA banned visitors to Gamescom 2022 from recording a demo of the platformer in the open world of Sonic Frontiers.
The demo has a 15-minute time limit, however, according to those who played in the first days of the exhibition, SEGA forgot to disable the auto-save function on the demo stands with the game.
Because of this, players could continue to pass beyond the allotted limit, learning secrets that were not yet intended for the general public.
For example, in this way, players revealed the appearance of Big's Cat before time.
Technically, this is not a spoiler, as its appearance in the game was confirmed by the July preview Game Informer, but before this character has not been demonstrated.
Sonic Frontiers will be released on November 8.
