Voltron Film Launched with Red Notice Director

Anime 80s "Voltron" about a huge mech-robot will receive a full-length live-action film. Variety and The Hollywood Reporter write about this.

Directed by Rawson Marshall Turber, who directed the recent action adventure Red Notice, along with the comedy "We're Millers," "Spy One and a Half," and the disaster movie "The Skyscraper." He co-writes the script with Ellen Shanman.

According to sources, six or seven studios and streaming platforms, including Warner Bros., are currently competing for film rights., Universal, and Amazon.

Netflix, which was behind the Red Notice and aired Voltron: The Legendary Protector, is reportedly not participates.
