Apparently, the first video of Yakuza 8 will be presented next week as part of a special edition of the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio TV program. It will air on September 8
The description of Yakuza 8 does not directly mention, but the list of participants of the program with the producer Yakuza: Like a Dragon Masayoshi Yokoyama at the head hints that it will be shown.
The developers promise a "first look at the new game".
Probably, the audience will be shown a short trailer, and a full presentation will be held at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 in the middle of the month.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is currently working on several games at once, but the development of Yakuza 8 has advanced further than the others.
In July, Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura recorded an interview with the developers of the series for his YouTube channel and covered several footage from the sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
At one of them, the authors showed a new hairstyle of the main character Kasugi Itiban. Yakuza: Like a Dragon was first announced in 2020.
