The Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio team, which is part of SEGA Publishing and is engaged in the development of the Yakuza brand, will hold a presentation of the RGG Summit before the opening of the Tokyo Game Show 2022.
The show will be held on September 14.
What the developers will show as part of the broadcast is not yet known, but it is most likely that there will be a full demonstration of Yakuza 8, the development of which was reported last year.
The audience can also be presented with other games, including those not related to Yakuza — the team deals with at least one new IP.
Recall that Yakuza 8 promises to be a direct continuation of Yakuza: Like a Dragon (our review) and tell about the new adventures of Kasuga Ichibana.
The first footage of the new RPG appeared on the network in the summer of this year.
