Yves Guimo announced a salary reduction for the coming year. The founder and CEO of the French company Ubisoft decided to give up a third of his income as a result of the company's disappointing financial performance.

Guimo will lose about 310 thousand euros that he would otherwise have received over the next year. As a result, the head of Ubisoft expects only 625 thousand.

The decision was made by him. “This is a personal decision made by Yves Guimo, given that the company has not achieved the financial goals that it has publicly communicated to investors,” Ubisoft said in an official statement.

Last year, Ubisoft's operating profit fell by 14%, and revenue fell by 5%. The company's shares have lost half of their value.
