As part of the month of exclusives, the Game Informer edition began publishing materials about Bayonetta 3, created by the PlatinumGames studio for consoles of the Nintendo Switch family.
In the first note, the journalists presented a small introductory video, which lists some of the features of the novelty that distinguish it from the first two parts of the series.
Despite the fact that the basic gameplay of Bayonetta 3 remains familiar, it has a number of additional mechanics and systems designed to diversify not only battles, but also moving around locations.
So, the various types of weapons that Bayonetta equips are now tied to certain demonic entities.
Using this or that weapon, the heroine not only opens access to additional attacks, but can also transform into separate forms, for example, into a fast butterfly or a dangerous beast.
The next moment is the summoning demons. By activating one of these, the player can freely control him and all his unique skills.
Bayonetta herself also remains on the battlefield and becomes more vulnerable — you need to make sure that she is not attacked by opponents.
If the demon takes too much damage, it will enter the conditional "berserk" mode, get out of the player's control, and start attacking everyone in a row.
The environment assumes the presence of a much larger number of unique puzzles and challenges.
In some parts of the world, players will find hidden secrets, activate additional puzzle challenges and hunt familiars, gaining access to special resources that buy auxiliary items, accessories, and so on.
In addition to Bayonetta, in Bayonetta 3 you can also play as a young witch Viola wielding a unique sword.
The sword can also be used to summon the Cheshire Cat demon — in this case, Viola's set of movements changes, and she begins to fight using melee attacks.
The worldwide premiere of Bayonetta 3 will take place on October 28 only on the Nintendo Switch.
