PlayStation-versions of the game Century: Age of Ashes about battles with dragons will be delayed

The Playwing team postponed the release of the free multiplayer game Century: Age of Ashes on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Instead of July 19, the action game about battles with dragons will now be released later — until the end of the summer. Developers need more time to release a quality product on Sony platforms.

They promised to disclose the new release date in the near future. The game is now in its debut season under the name A Shadow Over Skeld with a new class, map and battle pass.

In Century: Age of Ashes, players can fly dragons and air battles in teams of 3 or 6 people.

Four classes with unique abilities (Wind, Marauder, Phantom and Storm Master) and three game modes ("Slaughter", "Trophies of War" and "Gates of Fire") are available to choose from.

As you advance, the cosmetic options for customizing the character and the dragon are unlocked.

Century: Age of Ashes first appeared on Steam on December 2, 2021, reached the Xbox Series consoles on March 10, 2022, and on July 12, this year, dropped by the Xbox One.

A mobile version is also under development.
