Along with the confirmation of the release date and the cost of the PlayStation VR2, Sony and its partners presented 11 new games that will be released for the helmet in 2023.
The main announcement was The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR — a spin-off horror anthology from Supermassive Games in the genre of rail shooter.
In fact, the project is the spiritual heir to Until Dawn: Rush of Blood 2016, created by the same team for the first PS VR.
Switchback VR will send players on a "multi-level journey" based on the main series of The Dark Pictures, where they will have to survive on a terrifying ghost ship with its distorted visions, face creepy demonic incarnations of "witches" of 17th century New England, fight for their lives with otherworldly vampires trapped under the desert and finally escape from the nightmarish World's Fair Hotel with a sadistic serial killer hungry for blood.
The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR will support adaptive triggers of PS VR2 Sense controllers, which will make the sensations of each weapon unique, the helmet vibration function, 3D sound that allows you to hear demons whispering in your ear, as well as an eye tracking system.
In the latter case, the enemies will only move when you blink.
What else has Sony announced for PS VR2:Crossfire: Sierra Squad (Developer Studio — Smilegate)A first-person shooter in which players will have to fight an "endless army of enemies with a high level of artificial intelligence."
There will be over 60 missions in the campaign. The Light Brigade (Developer Studio - Funktronic Labs)An action game in the Roguelike genre, filled with "exciting shooting and dark secrets."
The project takes place in a world in ruins.
Cities VR: Enhanced Edition (Developer Studio - Fast Travel Games)An improved VR adaptation of the Cities: Skylines urban planning simulator, where players "can build and manage the city of their dreams."
Cosmonious High (Developer Studio - Owlchemy Labs)An adventure game from the authors of Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator, the main character of which is Prizmi - a representative of a rare alien species, able to adapt to any situation.

Search and Rescue (Developer studio - tinyBuild Games) VR is an adaptation of the popular horror series in which the player is required to enter the neighbor's house and find out what his sinister neighbor is hiding.
Jurassic World: Aftermath Collection (Developer Studio - Coatsink)A revised version of the adventure survival game, combining both parts of the series into one complete collection.
The events of the project unfold between the films "Jurassic World" and "Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom", where players land on the familiar island of Isla Nublar and find themselves trapped in an abandoned research center.
Already available on Quest.
Pistol Whip (Developer Studio — Cloudhead Games)An improved version of the rhythm shooter, where players participate in shootouts to a killer soundtrack in the style of action movies "John Wick" and "Equilibrium".

The Last City (Developer Studio - Ramen VR)A remaster of the "exciting open-world MMO" originally released for the first PS VR and Quest.
The owners of the original will be able to upgrade to the improved version for free.
After The Fall (Developer Studio - Vertigo Games)A tense cooperative shooter set in a post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles. It will also be possible to fight hordes of mutants and bosses alone.
"Team up with three other players by heading out of the survivor camp, which can host up to 32 participants at the same time."
Tentacular (Developer Studio - Firepunchd Games UG)A port of the physics-based octopus game, which is currently already available on PC and Quest 2.
