Sony is preparing PlayStation VR 2 for release in the first quarter of 2023

Sony is currently planning to release the PlayStation VR 2 in the first quarter of 2023, insider Tom Henderson told users. He does not have more accurate information yet, but according to sources, sales of the helmet will begin in the period from early January to the end of March.

The platform owner wants to have time to launch the headset before the end of the current financial year, that is, before March 31.

Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from the Hong Kong investment company TF International Securities also talked about the possible release of PlayStation VR 2 in early 2023.

After analyzing the supply chain, he came to the conclusion that the volume of the first batch of PlayStation VR 2 can reach 1.5 million units.
