Horror P. T. Hideo Kojima, access to which was banned on PlayStation 5 at the request of Konami, still managed to launch on the current console.

Dataminer Lance McDonald said that he managed to get P. T. to work on a completely updated PlayStation 5 without jailbreaking.

He noted that the console itself, on which the demo was launched, was never hacked.

To launch P. T., it was necessary to transfer the hacked PS4 emulator from another jailbroken PS5, using a USB backup to unlock the game on the main console.

MacDonald also posted a video where he showed the menu of the unbroken PS5 with the latest firmware and the P. T. P. T. running on it is a playable teaser of Silent Hills for PS4, which was developed by Hideo Kojima, however, due to a conflict with Konami, the project was closed and the demo was removed from the PlayStation Network servers.

Access to it remained only for those who did not delete the game from the console. At midnight from Wednesday to Thursday, Konami will hold a presentation dedicated to Silent Hill.

It is expected that new games will be presented at it.
