The horror "Rise of the Sinister Dead" has got a release date in streaming services.
The When To Stream Twitter account, which tracks premieres on streaming in the United States, announced that the new film in the "Sinister Dead" franchise will begin to be distributed using the PVOD (premium video on demand) model on Apple, Amazon, Google and other companies' platforms from May 9, 2023.
The digital release date was also confirmed on the feed page in the Microsoft Store, where it is already available for pre-order at a price of $24.99.
"Rise of the Sinister Dead" tells the eerie story of two separated sisters played by Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, whose reunion is interrupted by the appearance of demons, as a result of which they enter into a fierce battle for survival, facing the most nightmarish version of the family that can only be imagined.
The production of the tape was directed by Lee Cronin with active participation Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert, who served as producers.
The film launched in theaters on April 21 and has currently grossed over $53 million worldwide. The rating of "Uprising" on the rating aggregator Rotten Tomatoes is now 86%.
