Another project shown at the presentation of the PC Game Show 2023 Preview was the multiplayer survival shooter Once Human from the developers from Starry Studios.
The events of the game unfold after all life on Earth has been infected by an alien creature known as Stardust.
Some people managed to survive and gained the ability to use their superpowers, while others turned into mutants.
Now the remnants of humanity will have to fight for survival and travel around the world plunged into chaos to find the truth about the extraterrestrial guest and his true goals.
Players (alone or in groups) will participate in battles with enemies and bosses from another dimension, upgrade weapons, build bases, explore faction settlements, and so on.
Once Human will be available on Steam as a beta version on January 6, and a full release is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023. At the moment, no other platforms other than PC are announced.
