Atlus is preparing a full-fledged remake of Persona 3

The Japanese studio Atlus is preparing to announce a full-fledged remake of Persona 3.

The moderator of the ResetEra lolilolailo forums, who was the first in the world to declassify the developers' plans for the release of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal ports in the Xbox Game Pass, told about this with reference to his sources.

According to lolilolailo, a remake of the classic 2006 game is being created on a new engine and will graphically resemble Persona 5 Royal.

It will also offer numerous improvements in gameplay and possibly in the plot.

The insider noted that the Persona 3 remake may not appear on all modern platforms at once, so it is important for Atlus to release the Persona 3 Portable port wherever possible before its appearance.

It is expected that beginners who have passed the game in a "classic" form may later become interested in a full-fledged remake created according to modern standards.
