The computer version of the Starfield space role-playing game from Bethesda, most likely, will be optimized for GeForce RTX graphics cards.

A hint of this was found in the profile of Bethesda Game Studios graphics programmer Germain Mazak on LinkedIn, where it is said that, among other things, the developer was integrating RTX functionality into Starfield.

What specific features the project will be able to offer to owners of top NVIDIA graphics cards is not yet reported, but it can be both ray tracing effects for shadows and reflections, and support for the new DLSS 3 technology, which will clearly benefit such a large-scale game and can significantly improve performance.

The list of exclusive GeForce RTX features also includes the NVIDIA Reflex function, which is responsible for optimizing input latency.

Starfield was originally planned to be released on November 11, but was eventually postponed to the first half of 2023, along with Arkane Austin's Redfall, so that studios could provide fans with the best and most polished versions of the games.

Starfield is created exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
