Square Enix removed the Denuvo protection in the computer version of Star Ocean: The Divine Force. The role-playing game was released in October 2022 and has not yet been hacked by pirates.
Probably, the Japanese publisher decided not to pay more for using Denuvo or considered that anti-piracy protection has a bad effect on performance.
It is worth noting that in recent months Square Enix has decided to denounce The Dao field Chronicle strategy and the Valkyrie Elysium action, and in early April the Japanese removed the protection from Triangle Strategy.
