Another pleasant announcement by Atlus at the presentation of the Xbox Game Showcase 2023 was a remake of the Japanese role-playing game Persona 3 called Persona 3 Reload.
At the moment, the project is announced only for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, but the list of platforms should expand in the coming days.
Persona 3 Reload is a complete remake of the original Persona 3 from PlayStation 2, not including content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable.
Atlus claims to have completely recreated the game from scratch, having worked not only on graphics, but also on upgrading gameplay mechanics.
"I want to emphasize right away that we were directly involved in the remake of Persona 3, so the content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable was not considered for inclusion in this game.
We can't go into details yet, but Persona 3 Reload is almost completely created from scratch. New voice acting, new scenes and events are waiting for you.
We have also recorded completely new musical compositions for the game, as well as prepared new versions of the classic ones.
We are going to share the information gradually," said producer Reta Niitsuma. Persona 3 Reload will be released in early 2024 and will immediately get into the Xbox Game Pass.
At the Xbox show, Atlus developers also announced Persona 5 Tactica and a brand new RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio.
