Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection, which includes the first six parts of the Final Fantasy series in a "restored" form, will go on sale on April 19 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Fans will be able to purchase both the entire bundle in digital form, and any game from it separately. A physical edition of the collection will be available later.
Recall that all games from the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection offer restored graphics and an updated interface, as well as bonus materials, including additional illustrations.
The senior artist of the entire initiative is Kazuko Shibuya, a Square Enix veteran who managed to work on many classic releases of Final Fantasy, including the very first game.On PC and mobile platforms, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection was released in parts.
