Michael Packer believes that after Activision Blizzard joins Microsoft, the Xbox Game Pass audience will reach 100 million people.

In an interview with Yahoo Finance, the analyst noted that adding the publishing house's games to the subscription would attract new users.

According to official data, the number of subscribers is currently about 25 million.

Another 3.5 billion will be interested in playing through the "cloud" — according to Packer, just how many people in the world want to play on any screen.

It should also be remembered that after closing the deal with Activision Blizzard, Microsoft will become the fourth largest publisher in the United States.

The merger must be confirmed by the FTC antitrust service, but Packer has no doubt that everything will go well.

According to the analyst, FTC has no legal basis to close the deal, as Microsoft promised to keep Activision Blizzard games on consoles from Sony and other platforms.

The packer believes that the takeover will take place no later than January 15. But this is on the condition that the FTC does not find a reason to dispute the acquisition before the end of October.
