The German organization USK gave the age rating Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny. The game was awarded the mark 16+, and its prequel — 18+.

For the first time since 1994, the shooter and expansion went on sale in Germany without any censorship.

According to local Steam users, the shooters became available for purchase at a price of 4.99 euros. In addition, the game and prequel in Germany can be purchased from Gog and Microsoft Store.

Recall that in 1994, Wolfenstein 3D was banned from distribution in the country due to Nazi symbols.

Prior to this, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Youngblood became the first franchise games to be released in Germany without censorship.
