Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have announced the release of the Steel Gladiators update for the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout . A temporary competitive mode " Arena " has appeared in the game and a new season of the battle pass has started, opening up new models of weapons and parts for armored vehicles.

“Arena” - fierce battles in the “ 3 vs 3 ” format in special compact arenas. The battle goes up to three victories (out of five maximum possible), and at the beginning of a new round, you can change the armored car, adapting to the opponent's tactics.

There are two versions of Arena: regular and rated. In the second case, the player rises higher in the leaderboard with each victory and can move to a higher league. For getting into the "Gold", "Silver" and "Bronze" leagues, players will receive backgrounds and emblems for March.

In the new season of the Steel Gladiators Battle Pass, players will be able to unlock 54 rewards . New details include, for example, the “Hadron” cabin, originally designed for space shuttles, but after the apocalypse adapted for armored vehicles. And of the weapon systems, the sabotage drone "SD-15 Grif" is the most interesting.

After launching into the specified area, the drone hangs in the air and activates its own invisibility module. When an enemy appears nearby, the Vulture clings to its important parts, trying to destroy them, and then explodes.

Finally, a new relic weapon has been added to Crossout - the brutal disk launcher "Ripper". Its discs get stuck in the environment and deal damage on impact - a great way to set up traps on the battlefield. The “Ripper” can only be crafted on the Mechanic's workbench "Secret Shop".
