Google introduced the operating system Chrome OS Flex for old laptops and computers

Google has announced a lightweight version of Chrome OS subtitled Flex . The operating system is distributed as part of early access and is designed to run on older PCs and Macs .

To test or install Chrome OS Flex on a PC or laptop, you'll need a USB drive. It is reported that the action will take "a matter of minutes."

Google is promoting the new system as a free solution for businesses and educational institutions, claiming that Chrome OS Flex can run effectively on devices under 13 years old.

Recall that in December 2020, the company acquired Neverware, developer of the operating system for schools and enterprises Cloudready. In fact, Chrome OS Flex is a modified version of this solution.
