HBO to Release Neil Gaiman's Dead Detective Boys

Variety reports that HBO is preparing an adaptation of Neil Gaiman's comic book Dead Boy Detectives. A grim horror about dead detective boys and their live girlfriend will be released on the company's streaming service. The pilot episode was ordered last fall, a total of eight episodes are planned for display.

Executive producers of the series are screenwriter "Flight Attendants" Steve Yoki and screenwriter "Supernatural" Jeremy Carver. Interestingly, the main characters of Dead Boy Detectives previously appeared in the series "Fatal Patrol", for which these authors were responsible.

In the new project, they will be played by other actors, namely George Rexstrue and Jaden Revry, who directed the pilot Lee Toland Krieger (The Century of Adaline). Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. are responsible for the production . Television.
