The first digital store of Russian software is planned to open in May, head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadaev said. The Minister notes that the agency "has already started re-assembling the register of Russian software to make it a full-fledged marketplace."

"We hope that in May we will be able to launch the first version of such a marketplace," Shadaev said to the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications.

In addition, the Minister was asked: in which areas is the import substitution of software the most alarming? Shadaev replied that he is a specialized software, including oil and gas, engineering software for complex design and graphic applications for ordinary users.

Earlier it became known that Russians decided not to admit to the main conference of game developers GDC 2022 — tickets were canceled.
