1C Entertainment has revealed the release date for Lovecraft's Untold Stories 2 roguelike in a new trailer. PC owners will be able to embark on a dark journey as early as May 17, but console owners will have to wait a while.
Note that in the description of the video, only a link to Steam is given - therefore, there is a possibility that the game will be released on GOG a little later.
The plot revolves around the surrealist artist Ardois-Bonnot, who presented his painting "Landscape of a Dream" at the 1926 Paris Spring Salon. True, the event did not go according to plan - as soon as the work was shown to those present, they immediately rushed away, and the creator himself fell into a dream. Since no one could wake up the artist, six heroes have to investigate.
The Detective, the Witch and the Professor, familiar from the first part, will be joined in the sequel by the Veteran, the Medium and the Alienist - each character has its own style of gameplay. Also one of the significant innovations will be an integrated crafting system.
