Lucasfilm accidentally announced the anthology "Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi"

Lucasfilm incidentally revealed that a new animated series, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, was under development. The presentation of the project will take place on May 26-29 within the framework of the Star Wars Celebration convention in Anaheim (on the official website the event schedule appeared earlier, which was deleted a little later). 

It should be noted that the existence of the animated series became known at the end of December 2021, when images of Christmas gifts for members of the studio's film crew flowed into the Web. Among the logos was the brand "Tales of the Jedi". We are talking about an anthology of short films for Disney+, which will be presented by the executive creative director Lucasfilm Filoni.

"Tales of the Jedi" was originally a comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. Events unfolded during the Old Republic, when the Great Sith War broke out. The central character in the story was former Jedi Ulic Kel-Droma, who fought alongside the dark Lord Exar Kuhn.
