Moscow to hold an unofficial screening of the new "Batman" on the big screen

In the absence of Hollywood releases in Russia will hold an unofficial premiere of the new "Batman" Matt Reeves starring Robert Pattinson.

The film, we will remind, was withdrawn from distribution in the Russian Federation a few days before release and became the first release from the large Western film studios which display cancelled in the country from - for a situation in Ukraine.

On April 18, the film will be released on HBO Max, and, obviously, it will immediately appear online, so Moscow decided to arrange the "All-Russian premiere" of the film comedian. The film will be shown at the WIP cinema on Yauz Boulevard. Spectators will be able to watch the novelty on a large screen in a pirate version with Russian dubbing.

In a conversation with The Village, the show organizers said that "the premiere is an art performance and an artistic commentary on the departure of Hollywood studios from the Russian market". Tickets to the event are going to be sold at a price of 300 to 500 rubles.

Earlier it became known that following the results of March the Russian cinemas showed the lowest collecting for the last five years. Because of the departure of the Hollywood majors, the demonstrators give a disappointing forecast of the future of the Russian film distribution, if the state does not take measures of support.
