The WWE 2K22 wrestling simulator had to settle for the second place at the start of sales in British retail. The new project developed by the Visual Concepts team is an attempt to breathe new life into the franchise after the cancellation of WWE 2K21.

Compared to the predecessor WWE 2K20, box sales of the novelty decreased by 32%. 43% of the total physical circulation was on PS5, 29% of the copies remained behind the version for PS4, 17% and 11% were registered consoles Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, respectively.

Thus, the first line of the British chart for the second week in a row remains behind the exclusive for PlayStation racing simulator Gran Turismo 7. Compared to the debut week of the project, the Polyphony Digital teams sagged by 57%.

The role-playing action Elden Ring, which became a big hit "in the number", dropped to the third position in the chart (-47%). Pokémon Legends: Arceus (-39%) survived the fall from third to fifth place.

The only new release of the UK chart was a major addition to Assassin's Creed Valhalla's "Dawn of Ragnarok". The most ambitious expansion in the history of the series started from the twelfth position.

Top-selling digital games in the UK for the week ending March 12:

1. Gran Turismo 7
2. WWE 2K22
3. Elden Ring
4. Horizon Forbidden West
5. Pokémon Legends: Arceus
6. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
7. FIFA 22
8. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
