Preservation of old prices and premieres from Bollywood: Russian film networks told how they will continue to work

The largest Russian film networks will not increase prices. Against the background of the widespread rise in the price of goods, the heads of the cinemas "Cinema Park", "Formula Cinema", "Caro", "Kinomax", "Cinema Star" and "Premier Hall", which make up 31.5% of the cinema rental market in terms of the number of cinemas in Russia, told "Vedomosti" that they will retain pre-crisis prices, and this applies not only to tickets, but also to the production of cinema bars.

It is reported that the decision was made in order to keep the trip to the cinema as an affordable and relevant type of leisure, despite the increase in costs. For example, the cost of lamps and projector components increased by about 80%.

It is expected that the alternative to Hollywood premieres will be domestic novelties and re-rolling of hits of past years, including Soviet and foreign classics. It is also planned to attract viewers with releases from Bollywood, South Korea, Latin America and other countries.

This month, more than 70 films of different genres from more than 15 countries are featured in the schedule of film networks.
