The well-known Qualcomm chipmaker, engaged in the production of processors and wireless means of communication, stopped selling its products to Russian companies.

The restriction came into force in accordance with the sanctions imposed by the United States after the start of the special operation of Russia on the territory of Ukraine. It in response to vice-the prime minister of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov was reported by the senior vice-president of Qualcomm on public affairs Nate Tibbits.

Fedorov called on Tibbits to stop deliveries to Russia, which, according to him, are still being carried out, but as it turned out, cooperation with the Russian Federation has already been terminated.

“This is not the case. Qualcomm calls for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, makes direct donations to aid organizations and proportionally increases payments">

Thanking for this step, Fedorov subsequently suggested Qualcomm to send the satellite phones to the Ukrainian rescuers if that wants to provide such help.

According to the information voiced at the investor meeting earlier this month, Russia and Ukraine bring Qualcomm less than 1% of the company's total revenue.
