Exactly 26 years ago, the Japanese release of the very first part of the zombie horror Resident Evil, which started the iconic franchise, which includes several dozen games, as well as Hollywood screenings and canonical animated films, comics and various merchandise.
Six years after the original game appeared, on March 22, 2002, the owners of the Nintendo GameCube consoles were able to return to Ozwell Spencer's mansion in a full-fledged remake of Resident Evil, which offered fans not only a huge graphic leap compared to the original source, but also many different innovations.
In particular, the updated version of the iconic horror received a significantly expanded story component, a lot of new content and additional game mechanics, like the possibility reminiscent of the original Resident Evil and its magnificent remake.
