Kommersant reports that the Presnensky District Court of Moscow filed a collective claim against Apple Rus LLC from the buyers of the iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac. Apple device owners are represented by Destra Legal.

Twenty people demand compensation from the company for moral damage in the amount of 10 thousand rubles each, as well as a "commensurate reduction in the cost" of goods due to the fact that Apple Pay no longer works on devices.

The lawsuit states that buyers received equipment with a good contactless payment function, and its disconnection is a disadvantage due to the law on consumer protection.

Recall that in early March, Apple Pay became unavailable for Russian Visa and Mastercard cards after the departure of payment mir cards and delete the added payment methods from the app.
