Sony Announces “Venom 3” and Continuation of “Ghostbusters: Heirs”

At CinemaCon, they announced the third part of "Venom" and the sequel to the film "Ghostbusters: Descendants".

Unfortunately, there are no details yet, but the announcement was rather funny - those present at the event were presented with a cut of frames of future tapes, including the two above, as well as I Want to Dance with Someone, The Great Equalizer 3 and Kraven the Hunter.

Thus, Tom Rothman, head of Sony Pictures Entertainment, wanted to show the audience that the company is aimed at creating diverse content, and among its projects everyone will definitely find something for themselves.

Recall that "Venom" together with the sequel collected 856 and 502 million dollars at the worldwide box office, respectively. Ghostbusters has a much more modest $204 million, but even that was enough for Sony to green-light a sequel.
