Sony expects to close the $3.6 billion Bungie deal at the end of 2022

Sony expects the acquisition of Bungie to be closed by the end of 2022. This is stated in the company's forecast for the current financial year.

"This forecast is based on the assumption that the acquisition of Bungie, which is currently under consideration by the relevant authority, will be closed in the third quarter ending 31 December 2022."

The review body mentioned in the report is the US Federal Trade Commission, which recently launched a review of the Sony and Bungie merger.
