Sony Interactive Entertainment has created a new team whose task will be to save games from PlayStation.
Garrett Fredley, a Sony employee who recently joined the new PlayStation team as a senior engineer, revealed the information on his Twitter and LinkedIn pages.
"Today is my first day as a senior engineer at PlayStation. I'm one of the first people on the newly created condom team, ”Fredley wrote.

From 2016 to 2019, Fredley worked at EA, where he was solely responsible for maintaining the FIFA franchise, resulting in the full archiving of many games in the series.
It is not clear exactly what the role of the PlayStation team in saving games will be.
In May, Sony will launch the PS4 and PS5 PlayStation Plus Premium subscription, which will provide access to classic games with PS1, PS2 and PSP backwards compatibility and with PS3 through the cloud.
