The animated film "Resident Evil: Death Island" has received a new poster and release date

A new poster and footage of the animated film Resident Evil: Death Island appeared on the network, confirming the release date.

According to the image, the premiere of the film will take place on July 7 in Japan.

The poster also showcases key Death Island characters, including Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers and Jill Valentine.

In the case of the latter, the authors updated the image, making it look like the heroine from the remake of Resident Evil 3.

The director of Resident Evil: Death Island was Eyichiro Hasumi, who shot the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.

The script was written by Makoto Fukami, who invented the story for the animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Synopsis: "Agent D. S. O. Leon Kennedy is on a rescue mission from the kidnappers of Dr. Antonio Taylor, during which a mysterious woman begins to hinder him.

Meanwhile, B. S. A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating an outbreak of a zombie virus in San Francisco, the cause of which no one has been able to establish.

The only thing that unites the victims is that they have all recently visited Alcatraz. Following this hint, Chris and his team go to the island, where a new horror awaits them."

Outside of Japan, the tape will be distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and will be released immediately on streaming.
