The free What Remains of Edith Finch PlayStation 5 upgrade is now available to PS Plus subscribers

At the end of July, Annapurna Interactive released a native version of the narrative adventure What Remains of Edith Finch for PlayStation 5.

The 4K and 60 frames per second are now supported, and the update is free for PlayStation 4 game owners.

However, a spoonful of tar was needed,  as the upgrade was not available to those who had previously picked up the game with a PS Plus subscription. Fortunately, this problem has now been solved.

As Twitter user Wario64 noticed, the free What Remains of Edith Finch update for PS5 is now available to all owners of the PS4 version of the game, including those who received it through PS Plus.

The same thing happened to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

PS Plus subscribers who own a regular version of the remake could not download the reprint for the new console, but soon noticed the error and fixed it.
