Microsoft Corporation took some part in the release of the portable gaming PC ROG Ally from ASUS, so that the operation of the device running a full-fledged Windows 11 was as smooth as possible.

The cooperation of the two companies was not limited to this.

The ROG Ally package will also include access to three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which will allow future owners of the device to have access to an extensive library of the service, "wherever they are."

The Xbox team especially highlights this moment and positions ROG Ally as a "portable Game Pass".

The company mentions ROG Ally in the Xbox Wire blog in a material with a brief look at the capabilities of the device.

Apparently, Microsoft sees interest in this segment of devices, but it is not going to release its own portable version of Xbox yet.

Previously, the company also participated in the promotion of Logitech's portable G Cloud console, designed for cloud gaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming and other streaming services.

ROG Ally in a version with a powerful Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip will be released on June 13 at a price of $ 699 in the US and 800 euros in Europe.

In the third quarter of this year, ASUS will also release a more affordable model based on the basic Ryzen Z1.
