The authors of Dead Cells revealed the details of the update, which the developers have been working on in recent months.

Marketing manager Matthew Houghton said that the novelty will include a special auxiliary mode for those who are afraid of the complexity of the roguelike. The authors mentioned the possibility of such simplifications at the beginning of the year.

As part of the auxiliary mode, players will be able to continue the passage after the death of a character from the beginning of the current biome, and not the entire game. In addition, it will be possible to enable the ability to automatically aim in battles, make it easier to parry, slow down traps, and also adjust the level of damage and health of enemies. And, by the way, automatic aiming came straight from the mobile version of the project.

Users will also be able to customize various details of the game as they wish, including the size and colors of interface elements. In addition, they will allow you to change the sound parameters and so on.

There is no exact release date for the update yet, but the authors promise that it will "come soon" for consoles and PC.
