In an interview with Axios, Ubisoft chief Yves Guimo commented on the rise in game prices.

Skull & Bones will be the company's first release for the current generation of consoles, which will be sold at a price of $70.

Since the beginning of the current generation, Square Enix, Sony, Take-Two and some other major publishers have started asking for $70 for basic versions of their games.

Ubisoft, which postponed a decision on this issue, has now decided to join them. "Some games will be sold at the same price as competitors.

Large AAA projects will cost 70 dollars, "Yves Guimo said. It is worth noting that Assassin's Creed Mirage is not one of such large projects — the game will be sold for $50.

In addition, Ubisoft confirmed that the project will not be released in the "cloud" service Google Stadia.
